John loves living in Florida as he can once again get out to the course and get to practicing and tweaking his game. It's nice out now once again which is good news in a way but bad news as well. The winter months had him get a bit off focus with everything.
I live in Florida and the weather is finally allowing me to get back out and swing the clubs for some golf. I have only been out maybe 2 or 3 times and I went out recently to work on my golf swing mechanics. My golf pro walked up to me and gave me a few others to try to help improve my swing and overall game. I have been practicing and now when summer really hits, I am going to be ready to play my best game of all!
When you play golf, always make sure your body is lined up with your ball. So what golf swing mechanics can help improve your game?
• Keep your eyes directed to in the direction where you want the ball to go
• When pulling back to swing, make the motion fluid
• When swinging, put your weight on the back foot from the front one
• Keep your weight towards the balls of your feet
• Keep your shoulders facing towards your feet during the back swing
• When hitting the ball, hit with all you have and don't forget to open the shoulders
• Relax during the swing
• Remember to have your arms and shoulders in the form of a triangle
• Your elbows should remain pointed towards the hips
There are many more golf swing mechanics that can be done to help improve your golf game. There are some golfers who believe that good mechanics are better to have than the perfect set of clubs.
Always make sure that your body is aligned with the ball and that you balance your weight on the balls of your feet. Your shoulders should also face the direction of the ball and always remember to keep your movements fluid. When you go to hit the ball, always remember to open up your shoulders. Another important factor is to make sure during the whole process, you stay calm and relaxed. Being tight and stiff can affect the way you hit the ball. Doing these mechanics can help improve your golf game each and every day. Talk to your golf pro to learn more.
Golf swings also can help develop your set-up. Having a good swing is another important way to improve your game. Practice regularly and you will begin to notice a difference.
