How To Improve Golf Swing Without Any Dime Out From Your Pocket

After you start adding power to your swing, you may slowly start to develop a slice. Among many reasons, this is sometimes due to bringing the club too far back in your back swing. So try simply shortening up your back-swing and see if you don't notice an immediate improvement.

Keep in mind when you're working on your swing, or trying to fix something, that you don't overload your mind with things for your body to do during the swing. The swing is too fast and your body won't react in time. So pick one or two thing you want to correct in your swing, then hit a thousand shots until it gets implanted into your subconscious mind so you don't have to think about it anymore.

That being said, when you know there's one specific element of your game which needs to be improved, the best place to improve on it is either going to be at the driving range or on the putting green. The name of the game is repetition to get it into your subconscious mind. So if the only thing you need to work on is your driver, go to the driving range and hit a bucket, or two, or three, just hitting your driver. Tiger Woods hits hundreds and hundreds of balls at the driving range every day. So if you want to fix or improve something spend a lot of time focusing only on that element.

Once you have your puts down, move to your chips, so on and so forth until the last thing you need to improve on is your drive. Becoming a better golfer this way will compound your time to make you and even better golfer. If you're wondering what I mean, I can say I've golfed with people who are horrible off the tee but the rest of their game is amazing and they're still able to play very well. However, if their drives are good and the rest of their game is bad, they're not going to shoot relatively close to par.

This small tactic on how to practice and improve your golf game will help you substantially. If all else fails, have someone videotape you hitting a couple. Have the videotape you from two or three angles too so you can see different problems better. This is a great practice in almost any sport because you can usually see exactly what you're doing wrong. Hope the helps, shoot a bird.
